Https://f-droid.org/en/packages/io.kuenzler.whatsappwebtogo/ has a lot of potential when it comes to isolating Whatsapp since it can't access os functions. Sadly since I currently have an iPhone (yes, I will be moving away in the near future) there are no such apps (i might think about safari webapps) I thought about creating some kind of bridge to a more private service. There's one on F-Droid called Whatsapp Web To Go. It's just a wrapper for WhatsApp Web, you won't get banned for using it. It does require an app installation that's not through the Play Store, but F-Droid apps are all open-source and very safe. Source: about 2 years ago
WhatsApp Web To Go allows you to use the web version so you dont need to install it, thats nice. Now fingerprint is an issue. I use bromite with unique ip maskers, and my webview is bromite too.
