I did for rudimentary tasks and defaulted to 45mins focus / 15mins break time blocks. Recently jumped on the Flowmodoro train which has been helpful doing creative work (https://focusedwork.app has been great for this), since I can keep going until I really need a break and my breaks are a fraction of the time I spend focusing. Check out https://pomodoneapp.com/ I use it to work in 25 minute sprints + 5 min breaks to check for messages. Messages from other people totally take me away from what I'm trying to focus on, so I feel your pain. Source: over 1 year ago
An alternative (which could be used freely): https://pomodoneapp.com/. Source: over 2 years ago
