  • export a booklet pdf with flippable pages
Https://flowpaper.com/ will do this. I saw your comment about not wanting to use 3rd party, but you just cannot do this with InDesign alone. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Dealing with large PDF’s
Have a look at using FlowPaper for this (https://flowpaper.com). Flowpaper splits the publication in chunks and compresses the output. A 1000- page publication will load just as fast as a 10 page publication after it's been processed. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Advice on Compressing PDF size for view on browser!
I would recommend using something like FlowPaper instead of supplying the PDF https://flowpaper.com/. Source: over 2 years ago
  • What's the best way you've seen a booklet presented on a portfolio website?
We make a lot of booklets for clients and quite a lot requested an online version. Rather than recreate the entire thing in HTML we found FlowPaper that converts PDF's to flip books. It's pretty versatile (though heavy on data), but it actually converts PDF's very well, which is surprising. It might not be what you're after though! Source: almost 3 years ago

  • Sending files from form submission to webhook?
I built a form-to-email service like Formspree or Getform. My API accepts form submissions from the client, parses the request with formidable, and then sends the fields via email to the user. Any files submitted with the form are sent as attachments to the email. This way I never store the fields in my database or the files in something like AWS S3. Source: 9 months ago

By following these guidelines, you can create an effective and user-friendly contact form that helps you connect with potential employers and others. There are several options for setting up a contact form, including using a service like Sendgrid, Mailgun, Formspree, or Getform. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago

  • Are there any lesser-known tools you use a lot in your work?
I would recommend getform, it has a generous free tier as well. https://getform.io/. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Adding Google reCAPTCHA to Getform on Gatsby
For static websites, such as those on Gatsby, when handling form submissions, you either need a server to use a third-party form service. The Gatsby docs do a pretty good job in explaining how to build a contact form and it provides options for form submissions. I'm going to assume that you already have your html form set up, you're using Getform for it, and now you're here because you need to add Google reCAPTCHA. - Source: dev.to / about 2 years ago
