  I don’t know if this is any help, but there is a site called flexjobs dot com. (Not affiliated, just sharing information). They specialize in remote/telecommuting/ flexible schedule positions. It’s all on the up and up, it’s a real company, and the jobs posted are real jobs, not scams. I'm applying to several companies where I'd be happy in several different positions (e.g. SWE on team X, SWE on team Y, SWE on team Z). Should I be filling out each form separately?   I'd say I am not anti social, and I do get along well with people. No problem working in a team or by myself. I definitely get what you're saying though about looking like another It guy, but I just don't know what to edit. I wonder if my resume even makes it to a real person and isn't just being thrown out.
