- Pick some complementary colors from https://flatuicolors.com/ instead, the neon and pastel colors aren't helping. I'd go dark blue background, white for panels, and a complementary / brand color to highlight places where a user can take an action. Do: - use a design system (titles same size, font same size, etc. etc.). If it looks consistent it will look better. - think about what your user wants to do (or what you want your user to do) and make that obvious. Is there a sign up button? Hmm, I see. Well first off if it's a school project don't worry too much about all this, you're experimenting with colors and that's probably the point so that's great! Really, since you have no idea what the base pigments are in any color you want, I would refer to my original suggestion. If that isn't enough, then try thinning with a matching medium and then use the wet palette. You can also add a flow aid, but I would suggest a retarder, so the paint dries slightly slower on the model. That may help achieve more of a contrast effect as well. Https://encycolorpedia.com/ is insanely useful not only does it tell you the hex and break down the color composition also if you have a color you like it’ll tell you the closest paint you can buy including citadel paints if there is one. Source: 12 months ago
