FinWise's answer
FinWise is a modern, simple and intuitive budgeting and personal finance management app that makes it easy to save money, and manage all your personal finances.
FinWise is simple and streamlined in terms of it's functions and layout. If your primary focus is on Personal Budgeting and Saving, FinWise is the one App I would recommend trying
FinWise is one of the best made applications I've ever used, that's coming from a person working in IT. From the perspective of a financial planner, I love this app and the way it works. I didn't know what I wanted from a budget app until I tried FinWise. From a Developer standpoint, this application is amazing and incredibly well made. So many little things that other apps leave out, makes using the FinWise Tools so much easier. Hope to see this grow and succeed in such a large competitive field

I've been using FinWise for 3 months, and I'm really enjoying the UI. My accounts sync seamlessly, transactions are categorized accurately and automatically, and the team has been pushing new features on an ongoing basis! Looking forward to couple support!

In past Ask HN threads I've seen recommendations for Lunch Money (https://lunchmoney.app/) and You Need A Budget (https://www.ynab.com/). I can't personally speak to them as I use GnuCash, but I don't recommend it for you because it does not do automatic sync as you requested. - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
I would suggest something like [LunchMoney](https://lunchmoney.app/) instead. Built in budgeting, rules to classify payments, and recurring subscriptions are automatically found and called out. I had a bunch of issues with Personal Capital connections continuously messing up and there's no way to classify and evaluate the purchases. - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago
Lunch Money is a beautiful little independent app for personal finances: https://lunchmoney.app/ Won't do lots of complex stuff like investment strategy and estate planning, but covers all the essentials for a personal / family budget. Gives you a good overview of your spending, net worth over time, and lots of charts and querying functionality. Made a big difference for me.
