FindMyArea might be a bit more popular than Wanderlog. We know about 26 links to it since March 2021 and only 21 links to Wanderlog. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
Not the OP, but I've actually made something like that to help people figure out where to live in London based on the criteria they care about -- here it is https://findmyarea.co.uk/?search_type=areas Would be great to see similar tools for other cities! - Source: Hacker News / about 2 months ago
I've been working on a project that lets you search for properties in London (UK, not Ontario) with a huge number of filters. Property agents in England typically put very little effort into writing useful listings and the dominant search engine, Rightmove, has barely changed in 20 years. So you have to collate information from a lot of sources – and it takes a lot longer than it should – to find properties that... - Source: Hacker News / about 1 month ago
For recommendations on areas to live have a look at the wiki - the first few links there let you search by budget and commute time (and Find My Area let's you put in a whole lot of other stuff). Check the first few links on the wiki - those let you search by commute time and budget. Find My Area definitely lets you put in multiple commute destinations. Source: over 1 year ago
Wanderlog is also really good for this type of thing: https://wanderlog.com/. I'm a pretty active user of it, but TripGeeks also looks cool. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 months ago
Whoa, they also have a Chrome extension for collecting information during the planning process: https://wanderlog.com. Source: 6 months ago
I know this post is over a week old now, but I really like wanderlog.com. Source: over 1 year ago
I used Wanderlog which can suggest you popular locations in a city, if you pay for it you can optimize your itinerary for a day. It has some budgeting capabilities, but it won't suggest you accommodations, flights or transit from a city to another though. Source: over 1 year ago

We're creating an unofficial subreddit so that folks can share itineraries, ask for suggestions, and ask questions and make suggestions around using Wanderlog (https://wanderlog.com). I realize it'll be pretty quiet in her starting out, but if anyone on Reddit's already using Wanderlog, feel free to... Source: over 1 year ago
