Secure remote access can be facilitated through encrypted tunnels. VPNs, SSH, Cloudflare tunnel, SOCKS, etc. Can all be secure ways of remotely accessing network resources. What you use will vary, depending upon the type of access you require and/or prefer. I have seen zend.to used in the past, and had a system using it. We ended up dropping it for OneDrive though - we only dropped it in an effort to converge where we could. It didn't make sense to keep zend.to on-prem when OneDrive had a solution, and we had already shifted a lot to MS365 Cloud. Source: over 1 year ago
