Redis is an open source (BSD licensed), in-memory data structure store, used as a database, cache and message broker. It supports data structures such as strings, hashes, lists, sets, sorted sets with range queries, bitmaps, hyperloglogs, geospatial indexes with radius queries and streams. Redis has built-in replication, Lua scripting, LRU eviction, transactions and different levels of on-disk persistence, and provides high availability via Redis Sentinel and automatic partitioning with Redis Cluster.

Hi ! I've just discovered a cloud provider called Filen : filen.io, they offer a desktop app to sync local folder to remote. The app is an AppImage, I've tried to run it all day long. It starts normally, but once I'm logged in, the app GUI just closes and does not show itself in the taskbar anymore, but the AppImage is still working in background (Console is still open, and system monitor shows some process). One of the most effective ways to improve the application’s performance is caching regularly accessed data. There are two leading key-value stores: Memcached and Redis. I prefer using Memcached Cloud add-on for caching because it was originally intended for it and is easier to set up, and using Redis only for background jobs. - Source: dev.to / about 18 hours ago
Hi there! I want to show off a little feature I made using hanami, htmx and a little bit of redis + sidekiq. - Source: dev.to / 30 days ago
Data Handling: Utilizes Windmill for data pipelines, with a primary database powered by PostgreSQL. Auxiliary data storage is handled by MongoDB, with Redis for caching to optimize performance. - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago
