It was Fever (https://feedafever.com). I had to click through about 5 browser warning to see the page, but there is a message that basically says they're done, but if you are an existing customer you can keep going. I remember a feedreaders for this. It might have been https://feedafever.com/ - but indeed that is dead. According to https://www.reddit.com/r/rss/comments/j7pcv0/any_modern_feed_readers_like_fever/ fiery feeds took some of the concepts.
