I came across FBReader which looks great in principal, but it uses a Google Drive account to sync with no other options. Also it's no longer OSS from 2015 (which wouldn't have been a deal breaker for me). Source: about 2 years ago

I find it hard to get feedback on any story site. I've posted stuff on a few stores like fanfiction.net, fictionpress.com and Wattpad.com but people might read it but not comment on it. It's just how it is with free story sites, so much content that yours gets lost in the mix.
