I used to love sxc.hu! I used them a tone back in the 2000s while I was in college, and even put out some photos on it. Since theybe changed over time I stopped using them. I use pixabay.com these days but I agree with what you are saying. Source: almost 2 years ago
But nothing awesome comes without a cost. I started my studies with sites like sxc.hu to find a wealth of hi resolution, raw unprocessed uploads to use in my projects. Now I find myself regretting not building up my own photography library over the years, thinking that this stuff would always be available.
