Extraterm VS Kitty terminal

iTerm2 is a great piece of software. It is probably the best "featureful" terminal on any platform. It is also an influence on my terminal project which also has a "features are good" philosophy but isn't limited to macOS. (https://extraterm.org/ , the website needs an update. There aren't many terminals on Linux much are aiming at iTerm2. At lot of popular terminals follow a minimalist philosophy where features are considered frivolous and a sign of newbie-ness. Personally, I'm not into that which is why I continue to work on my own terminal Extraterm with a maximalist approach. There are lots of terminal projects recently. Ghostty (https://mitchellh.com/ghostty) and Terminal Click (https://terminal.click) come to mind. Also Warp and Fig but they don't appeal to me because they're proprietary (and Fig got acquired by Amazon).
