I have a problem syncing my Pixave iPad library with the desktop version. After several messages to the developer over the last few weeks I have had no reply. Rather a shame as I have been using Pixave for many years.

The main problem with metadata is that it is often erased by broad editors, making it impossible to disclose information about a person. And the fact that almost everyone uses editors, that is why there is no chance to read them. For tools, on PC, the go-to tools has been EXIF Purge, and there are several tools on both App Store and Play Store (I use Imagepipe). Samsung (and Google Camera, apparently) allows disabling location tags in their camera app, though if you don't trust them and find its result to be OK, then you can use Open Camera instead.
