This is from the DNS server on their VPN server not responding to your computer's DNS requests (aka, your PC is asking it what the IP for engadget.com is and the DNS server on their side isn't responding so your PC doesn't know the IP needed to get there). I have a server (hosted by Logic) which we tried to upgrade to 1.20.50 tonight. However, when the server starts it shows that it's loading 1.20.40. Logic has tried to help me, and I've tried downloading the file directly from Minecraft.net, same results. I've blown away every single file from the server and tried fresh, it just keeps coming up as 1.20.40 and when my upgraded client tries to connect I get an error... Source: 7 months ago
So I used to mod back in the day on 1.12 and I tried to do it again on 1.20, does anyone have a (working) tutorial on how to get this to work because every time I press play on the modpack I have created on curseforge it leads me to this dumb "Migrate" screen, once I press it it brings me to minecraft.net where I am still logged into my minecraft account so I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
