EMDB - Eric's Movie Database VS Tellico

Now, the best thing I found that fits those is EMDB. The whole db is kept in one folder and the interface is made for a desktop. The problem is the bugs or "inconveniences" that are introduced with new versions. Aside from a big issue in detecting files that has been there forever. If you don't need it to be a web app or a service, try out Tellico. I use it to track my physical books, comics, and video games. It can fetch metadata from a bunch of different sources and has a preset for music albums. Source: over 1 year ago

I love data and I can't imagine anyone other than myself being interested in this information, lol. It would be neat if one day, when all the info is in there, to share it and see if others like it too. I've been using Tellico for a few years now. You can retrieve metadata from a number of sources, search for books based on ISBN and other factors, and even track lending. It's FOSS and actively maintained (latest release came out in February). It's a standalone desktop app, so no docker is necessary. Source: about 2 years ago
