Are you going to study before getting there? I recommend you learn the basics so it's not too overwhelming at first. Go through a self-teaching textbook like "Teach Yourself Turkish" or "The Delights of Learning Turkish", reinforce what you learn with exercices on elon.io, listen to Language Transfer and you'll be fine :D.
