I pay monthly for edit.org and earn the subscription fee back tenfold. I have absolutely zero design experience, nor do I use all its fancy features. I imagine you could come up with some even better stuff if you were a pro, but even a noob like myself can make it work. My sales have gone upwards exactly when I re-released with new covers. I've been on the hunt for the "Thornless Cut" of Halloween 5. After some digging I found a copy (H5TL.rar) but it's only the video and has no audio track at all! You could technically make this in illustrator, but the actual program you’d need to be using for the whole thing is something like Adobe InDesign, or Affinity Publisher. Source: over 1 year ago

I use Affinity Publisher, as it is the direct competitor of Adobe InDesign. It's a one-time purchase and has all the features InDesign has for as far as I've used it so far. Only the spreadsheet handling is a little wierd. Fingers crossed they update that system. Source: almost 2 years ago
