This area only recently, but I think macOS is still behind. When I'm using macOS, I can't stand the GUI without these tools: Rectangle: https://rectangleapp.com/ Easy Move+Resize: https://github.com/dmarcotte/easy-move-resize They move the macOS desktop usability near the place where KDE was in. - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago
Yep, I find it pretty funny that my #1 favorite desktop UI feature is from Linux. One of the first things I'll put on a fresh install of Windows or MacOS is a utility that re-creates the behavior. I use AltDrag on Windows (requires a quick tweak for HiDPI): https://stefansundin.github.io/altdrag/ And Easy Move + Resize on MacOS: https://github.com/dmarcotte/easy-move-resize. - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago

Install CopyClip 2. That Win+V feature for clipboard history on Windows is AMAZING. Unfortunate that Mac doesn't have this build in. CopyClip 2 is alright, I've bound alt+V to toggle the menu, which works similar enough to the Windows feature, it's just not that fast. (and with the key swap, it's the same muscle memory) https://fiplab.com/apps/copyclip-for-mac. Source: over 3 years ago
I’ve been using CopyClip for years. It’s text only though. The old version is free but the new one is paid. I think you can still find the free one on the App Store. It works well and doesn’t take up much resources. Yippy looks awesome though! Does it take up much memory/cpu? Source: almost 4 years ago
