   Google chrome, firefox, edge, ie, opera, are now tracking you.

   ddg is my favorite search engine and it has great restutes. It has a built in video player too! The only problem is that i have to use google in a blue moon to get the results it need. Duckside! Brave! Lunix!

  Make default search be a version of ChatGPT and put ads on it? Could work (I wouldn't use it though). The way a lot of people use their browser they might be fine with it if it puts navigation-type links up top (I have literally seen a technical colleague with a PhD do a Google search for "x" and click a link rather than type the ".com").   DuckDuckGo & Co. - DDG, Swisscows and Ecosia all use Bing index. For people that only care about privacy, this is a non-issue. But I don't like the idea that the entirety of web currently depends on just two companies. So I personally don't use them.   I use brave, google (for technical subjects when I can't find answer with brave), and for anything that has a remote chance to be censored I use engines with their own crawlers : fireball.de, gigablast.com, yandex.com and other browsers to be sure but I don't think they have their own crawler : lycos.com, swisscows.com, mojeek.com, metager.de.
