If you like pathfinder stacks, check out Dropzone by Aptonic. Really nice menubar app that activates when you select and drag files. I found it to be way more useful than Pathfinder's stacks. Source: about 2 years ago
Looking for a method to drop a file or folder onto an icon (menubar or desktop) that immediately starts uploading FTP-style to a folder on a server (that is on a website of mine). I like Milanote for a lot of writing tasks and use the paid version. In my novel-length works, each character gets a "board," which can be a character profile, reference art, a mood board, etc. Or ALL of those in one. Your mileage will depend on your tolerance of the price point and how many characters you have. Source: 11 months ago

Milanote. Something that just lets you have boards within boards, in a free-form note space. Not Joplin or Obsidian. Even though those two are spectacular, they don't have the board format I like for some projects. A self hosted alternative would be amazing! Source: 12 months ago
