Upload the html5 folder to the webhost,or https://drv.tw to share ur web folder! Source: about 1 year ago
You can use onedrive or googledrive to upload your files and then share the complete folder and use https://drv.tw/ to make a website out of it. But that system will be slower than real hosting or selfhosted system but you don't have to worry about disk space or bandwidth then. Source: about 3 years ago
There is an alternative you can use with Google Drive or MS OneDrive, called DriveToWeb, however it creates relatively ugly URLs and you have to grant it full access to your storage space, whereas DropPages can be restricted to a specific area. If I were to use it, I think I would create a separate new Google/MS account just for that. Other than that there is GitHub Pages – where I'm now hosting the POTD... Source: about 3 years ago
Unfortunately, the DropPages service no longer offers any free space to new users. A similar service for either Google Drive or OneDrive is DriveToWeb, However, the URLs it creates are comparatively ugly and it needs full access granting to the storage space – unlike DropPages which is restricted to a specific folder in DropBox – so I would recommend creating a separate account to anyone considering using that.... If you have some OS skillz the hosting service https://nearlyfreespeech.net/ could be a great deal for you. It's raw BSD Unix and MariaDB. They charge by usage (cpu, disk, io) and very reasonable, nearly free for many sites, rates. No email service, though. Source: 5 months ago
If you're fairly technical and don't often need support from your host, check out nearlyfreespeech.net. They have great shared hosting where you are billed based solely on your usage. It would be dirt cheap for everything but your "busy" site. I bet you'll still find the prices reasonable. In reading your post, I was thinking this would be a good fit for you right up until you said you aren't sure what CentOS is. Source: 12 months ago
If Cloudflare Pages or GitHub Pages are not a good for you, you can look into nearlyfreespeech.net. I imagine your hosting bill would run no more than $1/month if you don't have lots of traffic to your site. Source: about 1 year ago
If you're good at command-line stuff and looking for a solution that starts out very cost-effective and scales up really well, you can try https://nearlyfreespeech.net/ (That's nearly free as in beer, not nearly free as in the ability to host nasty content.). Source: over 1 year ago
Some hosts, like nearlyfreespeech.net , give you super basic and "clean/empty" servers where they expect you to do EVERYTHING yourself from step 1. Skip this for now. Source: over 1 year ago
