During my college days I used to use Drawio to draw wireframes and flowcharts. When I found that there is a VS Code extension that allows me to do it in the IDE it was a no brainer. I have found it is also useful whenever I am screen sharing to use it as a whiteboard during meetings. All you have to do is create a new file with the .drawio extension and you're off to the races. Sequence diagrams are always a good idea, and this is a really nice UI! Like another commenter I'm a habitual PlantUML user because of Gitlab rendering, but this would be awesome for someone non-technical.
