Even in the best case scenario, its going to take you 15 years for the deposit on the shittiest house on domain.com.au. And need I remind that there are essentially no safety controls afround the quality of apartment builds and as such you're gambling with your life savings by buying one... The warranties can be shorter than a car. Source: 5 months ago
Is it me or have both onthehouse.com.au and domain.com.au both removed the previous sale prices of properties in the last month or so? Source: 10 months ago
Town houses are cheaper than detached places and often can be found in better suburbs that are closer to the amenities, beaches, shops, etc.. Make sure to check out places on domain.com.au or realestate.com.au to get a good idea. Suburbs like Pacific Pines, Coomera, or Pimpama are all driveable but check Google maps for rush hour commute times - the roads can get choked at rush hour. Source: 10 months ago
In the age of domain.com.au you guys are are totally redundant ticket clippers and offer absolutely nothing to justify the fees you charge. A few years from now you'll go the way of milkman I'm afraid. (Though at least the milkman didn't charge a $20k commission to pass the product from the vendor to the buyer lol). Source: 11 months ago
Nah, I live in Richmond myself and I've lived in both Brunswick and Moonee Ponds before. They're all in my ongoing domain.com.au property search. Source: 11 months ago
I'd say start searching now because you never know what you'll be able to find, try apartments.com, Facebook Marketplace, maybe Craigslist if you're brave, and I found a site called roomies.com where you can find rooms and connect with like minded people also searching. I found my place quick; My employer let me know I got the job around 2 weeks before the start date, I found my current place within a week on... Source: 5 months ago
Even if you aren't renting, I'd look for places using apartments.com commute distance feature. All roads in NJ are not created equal. You'll be able to live much further(cheaper, prettier, more space) the further south or west you go, and more than likely 95 or 80 will serve you better than the Garden State Parkway, Route 1, 9, 18, 27, 130. If you aren't local, try places like zillow, apartments.com, rentcollegepads, or google places like JSM, MHM, Smile, Green Street Realty, University Group, Roland, Bankier, Ramshaw, etc. Source: 5 months ago
You have the budget to afford one of those luxury buildings. There aren't many (any?) in Somerville like that, I think it's due to permits/regulations or something. But if you up your budget filters on apartments.com you could still find something in Somerville with off street parking included. Source: 5 months ago
I always found hidden gems on Craigslist. People shit on it all the time but I preferred it over apartments.com and the like. No b/s, just pay the owner a flat fee monthly. Source: 5 months ago
