DNSCloak VS AdGuard for Android

I'm not able to reproduce that behavior on the AppStore nor TestFlight versions. Relatedly, it's worth noting the App Store version hasn't received an update for quite a while (~1 year) from the maintainer while the TestFlight version has been maintained fairly regularly since then. You can also use something like AdGuard (Android/iOS) to block the ads on your phone. It's free. I personally used it and saw no ads on the site. Pretty easy to set up, too. You may need to tweak the filters a bit, though. Source: 11 months ago

If it's in Private DNS settings, does it work when you try switching to other DoT provider like say, p2.freedns.controld.com or adblock.doh.mullvad.net? If they all also fail, then your network block DoT and you need to use DoH either with AdGuard app or others like Nebulo or Intra. Source: about 1 year ago
