Are you looking to post content automatically to social media? If so you can try Jetpack, though the only one it doesn't post to is twitter. Cause Twitter cuts off their api. There's a bunch of replacements. I like https://newsblur.com but there are 4-6 large-ish similar sites. That said, partially what people miss is the relative cultural hegemony of Google Reader.
