Some boilerplates do offer some choices - usually around the front end, which tends to be a manageable piece to bite off. Luckily, I discovered Adonisjs. It is basically a typescript clone of Laravel. It has everything you need to build web apps built-in, including it's own orm called Lucid. Absolutely blows away every other nodejs orm. Source: 11 months ago
