Personally, I feel like nothing happened to Reddit. Communities that I visit are pretty much what they were before Reddit changed its API policies. You could use a personal site and host it in github pages if you don't want to post your content on an existing platform. And since you are interested in computer science, having a personal blog site would add a lot of value in your career. I setup Raindrop.io [1] to feed into Archivebox, mostly as an overcomplicated way to automatically submit the page to archive.org [2].
