Very easy way to create a custom calculator (eg. for generating quotes) or interactive charts for customers, using an uploaded excel or Google sheet. I love that the resultant interface that you can embed on your website is simple and streamlined for users! Lots of possibilities for use. I’ve seen other interactive-chart-making competitors but they tend to be too robust and resultantly pricey for average small business/individual use

Used spreadshare to create complex custom calculators that allow me to quickly enter field data and record a result. Downloading the hosted spread to my home screen allows me to quickly access the spread while conducting field work and saves me loads of time with complex calculations.

To be fair, its not Mastodon, its the #Fediverse. Mastodon is arguably the least rich platfrom on the 'verse. IMHO Friendica is where its at, and you can still communicate with all the twitter refugees on Mastodon, as well as meater content on services likeDiaspora*, not to mention full integration with Lemmy (which works fairly similar to Reddit) while Masto you can see lemmy posts and replies without having to... Several upstarts have tried to capture what you're talking about. Diaspora was an early entry, the Fediverse is another that seems to be gaining momentum in a way Diaspora never did. Source: over 1 year ago
