I'm using DevExtreme in one of my project, which is a suite of components that's relatively cheap for what's included but powerful. The only downside is it's a general purpose library of components, so it doesn't always feel "Angular native". React is open sourced and maintained by a large organization. It's unlikely to go away due to lack of support (looking at you Dojo). By using react you are not re-inventing the wheel and it is a skillset that will be used for gainful employment with actual companies. Source: over 2 years ago
