  • Didact | A New .NET Job Orchestration Platform
I was going to exclusively use DevExtreme for the entire UI, but I really, really like Tailwind CSS, so I think I'm going to use DevExtreme for the tables, filtering, and charting, and for the rest I think I might use something like Flowbite. Source: 10 months ago
  • .NET Modern Task Scheduler
DevExtreme components for powerful datagrids and filtering. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Need a datagrid that allows to execute the mentioned feature requirement.
I'm using DevExtreme in one of my project, which is a suite of components that's relatively cheap for what's included but powerful. The only downside is it's a general purpose library of components, so it doesn't always feel "Angular native". Other than that the included data grid can render custom content using a master-detail view. There's also a "tree list" component included if you need to visualize actual... Source: about 1 year ago
  • MAUI, Blazor, Avalonia, Uno... isn't there a simple UI abstraction in .NET?
Take a commercial framework which offers a lot of components and good support (like DevExpress DevExtreme for example) and build an SPA application with some sort of a REST backend. Source: over 1 year ago

  • Considering a move
Cirrus Aircraft is based in Duluth, MN and does manufacturing: https://cirrusaircraft.com Could live in Duluth or over in Superior, WI. Swap Lake Superior instead of Michigan so you are still close to a Great Lake. Winters can be challenging especially if Duluth gets ice with their steep streets. Source: 8 months ago
  • Is the cloud person still here?? Please tell us about what’s going on!
You might have noticed some beautiful, wispy clouds that seem to stretch on forever. Those are cirrus clouds, and they're a sure sign that cooler weather is here! These clouds are formed at high altitudes and are made up of ice crystals that reflect light in a stunning way. They're a favourite of many sky-watchers and are often used as a symbol of good weather to come. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Parachute on falling plane saves man's life
I'm not an expert on planes but I got to watch a really neat presentation and tour a facility for Cirrus airplanes which use parachutes like in the video. I don't know if that plane was Cirrus or not, but the parachutes are literal life savers. https://cirrusaircraft.com/ is their website if you're a millionaire. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Damn that looked expensive
This is a Cirrus aircraft. Cirrus is the only plane on the market with an emergency parachute. Each parachute needs to be repacked every ten years regardless of usage and a repacking costs about $30k. The item seen falling is the hatch which was ejected to release the parachute. • Not mine, but wow didn't know this was possible!
I think that is a Cirrus aircraft. https://cirrusaircraft.com/. Source: almost 2 years ago
