• Ordered food from Deliveroo. Driver claimed he delivered and stole my food. When I called they claimed he now said his car broke down and he didn’t deliver. I asked for my tip to be returned and told ‘no consider it a donation’.

  I spent over 2 weeks chasing money from Delivery.com when my food was never delivered. These delivery service providers really try to give the run-around. I exchanged something like 40 emails and made a few phone calls before finally getting $60 of the $98 I was owed. I continued trying to pursue the remaining amount, which ended with $10 in delivery.com credits. Finally the restaurant got back to me after dodging... Source: over 1 year ago

  They could be off Doordash.com but still use the DD tablet for third party orders. This is what DD used to call a Drive order. In addition to delivery.com, some merchants have their own website and use DD that way. In these cases they have to input the driver tip.   If you have Amazon Prime you can get grubhub (aka seamless) for free for a year. My favorite used to be delivery.com which had very few service fees unlike the others. These days I just go with the one that has an active promotion OR even better just call the restaurant and order direct. Source: over 1 year ago

  As the subject says when I try to sign into a site like seamless.com with my google account it doesn't go through. Have to use a new browser. I tried adding seamless.com and google.com to the allow list in cookies and site data but it doesn't work. Want to keep my browser in strict mode.   I'd first go to slicelife.com or seamless.com to see which pizzerias are open at the time you want. Then I'd call and speak to someone to request your order before making any order online. I'm pretty sure there are a few joints around where you are. Source: almost 2 years ago
