We're commonly doing this with logging, using services such as Loggly or DataDog. We're using managed databases, be it on AWS, Heroku or database-vendor-specific solutions. I use Twitter. The Tweetdeck website is perfect for this. You can make lists for the topics of your choice and put whatever accounts you want into those lists. You never see a single dumb user comment unless you specifically want to. Source: 11 months ago
