We're commonly doing this with logging, using services such as Loggly or DataDog. We're using managed databases, be it on AWS, Heroku or database-vendor-specific solutions. There are also other alternatives like game backup monitor (gbm) and ludusavi. Gbm can find non-installed games (you have to add them manually) and also scans much faster, but the official database is very small, so a lot of the time you have to add them one by one with ludusavi manifest database.
