  Dark mode is actually too stark a contrast and wears on my eyes. I have an addon that I can choose the colors. I have a dark gray background with green text and it is way better than having a 27" white light flashlight shining in my face for 10 hours a day.   For web maps I'd strongly recommend using OpenLayers. While it's less convenient to get started with compared to the alternatives it's also much more feature-complete and you'll likely hit a ceiling in terms of functionality much later than you would with the others. Source: about 1 year ago
