If you’re like me, a person who is building in public to gain opportunities, cultivating a community, as my colleague Candice Zakariyah says, “attracts and retains the attention of your target audience”. As far as platforms to choose, think back to the reason you decided to build in public. If you should decide to try Catherine's again, try doing a google search for Catherines Free Shipping or something like that. I often find a free shipping code on retailmenot.com Same with a lot of other stores. I've happened on coupons and ended up with unexpected discounts. There are a few coupon sites out there. Protect yourself by first pulling your FICO score (go to MyFico and pull your own score, and you can get a coupon from retailmenot.com) and shop around. When you pull your own FICO this way, it doesn't count as a hard pull and puts more knowledge in your hands. Source: almost 2 years ago
I'm in Canada, too. Lands' End has fast shipping to Canada, and I've bought a lot of quality basics from them. They have lined leggings here, though I haven't bought them myself: https://www.landsend.com/products/womens-high-rise-serious-sweats-fleece-lined-pocket-leggings/id_359400?attributes=3298,44967. Lands' End always has discount codes (sign up for emails or check retailmenot.com), so never pay full price. Source: over 2 years ago
