  • Finding it hard to get started...
If you don't want to jump into books, I would start with Kelly Handerson's vid courses on cybrary.it. She's funny and explain topics well. It gave me a whole nine yard of all domains to cover. When I was done with that I jumped on the MindMap CISSP course by Destination Certification on Youtube. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago

  • Security + 601
I would like to study for the 601 exam but can't find a lot of material to study yet. It's mostly 501, does anyone know normally when does new study exam material come out? I know https://www.professormesser.com/ has 601 material but he says it's not complete and he did not really say when it would be complete. I have looked on cybrary.it but they only have the 501. Should I just study the 501? - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago

  • Finish my bsn degree soon, want to start coding at my spare time
You can definitely give it a go. I did a short 3 week coding course recently which went over the basics of html, css and javascript. I did it in between shifts and it was very doable and enjoyable. Having said that, I personally did it for fun and not to start a different career, but I will say if coding is something you are considering it is a good idea to start small. So something like a short 3 week course... - Source: Reddit / 20 days ago

  • serious question
I did the free courses on codecademy.com, then I was somewhat lucky to have access to lynda.com and then later access to pluralsight.com . There is a lot on Youtube so I guess you could find videos there instead of Lynda and Pluralsight that cost money, if you are not lucky enough that your school or work has a subscription that you can use for free. - Source: Reddit / 5 months ago
  • I'm a React developer, but my new job is mainly run on Vue. Excited for the challenge, but do you guys have any great resources for learning, specifically from a React background?
