  • Is anyone here part of a coffee subscription service in the US? Got any recommendations? I’m tired of my local folks.
Give https://crema.co a try. Surprised no one had mentioned it. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Slowly getting to espresso Shangri-La
Where are you at? I typically order online from small roasters or pick up from local roasters. There are also subscription services like crema.co which offer freshly roasted coffee from many different roasters. Source: over 1 year ago
  • The simple joy of coffee
Pour over is a lovely way to make coffee with light roasts. You can still save even with buying premium roasts. In our coffee e-commerce pursuits, we found a wonderful platform crema.co. It allows you to create a playlist and ship when you want. Not sure if Drink Coffee Do Stuff ships to Canada, but if they do definitely give them a try. Aside from that Chemex double bonded filters and the setup will be your only... Source: over 1 year ago
  • Beginner espresso machine?
I usually buy coffee beans as I've got a grinder, but I've also bought ground coffee for my Breville. I think that if the ground coffee is good quality it should be ok. I've used Illy ground coffee, but I'm sure you can buy some good ground coffee from a coffee roaster online and having it sent to your home. You could try a subscription with Crema : https://crema.co/. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Beginner espresso recommendations
If there is a dearth of local roasters, subscribe to a coffee subscription service like crema.co (there are many others. I have no relationship to crema) that will mail you freshly roasted beans from all over the country. Source: about 3 years ago

  • The Myth of 'Just Press Record' in Podcasting
Recording an episode is not just a conversation but a production. With tools like StreamYard, we can connect with guests, capturing both video and audio. New additions like custom layouts and local recordings, have been game changers for CodingCat.dev. If a code sharing session gets blurry we have a copy from the users local device that we can make fixes! But the process doesn't stop there. The raw files are... - Source: dev.to / 5 months ago
  • Building a (Virtual) Events Site
I originally signed up for Streamyard because the streaming options in Crowdcast v1's built in streaming were very limited. This has since improved enormously, but Streamyard has a number of other features that make it useful to me. The ability to do multi-streams is helpful as we've started streaming to both YouTube and Crowdcast at the same time. The customizable displays and branding are useful too. I'm sure I... - Source: dev.to / 6 months ago
  • Zen Voltron Assemble!
Given the state of the world, this is likely the best idea. I have done many video group meetings to talk about Buddhism and Zen using: skype, Zoom, streamyard and OBS studio, and sending in video clips that are later edited in a presentation video. Source: 11 months ago
  • What's the best software for recording virtual Podcasts?
I use Streamyard and love it. https://streamyard.com/ (non affiliate link) https://streamyard.com/ (affiliate link - you'll get $10 credit). Source: about 1 year ago
  • Is there a preferred software for virtual video podcasts?
We've used Streamyard for a couple of years and really like it. Easy to use, nice features and they keep adding more. There's a free plan with some limits as well as paid plans. If you use this link to signup you'll get a $10 credit. Source: about 1 year ago
