I've been trying to setup AUTHELIA but the 2FA tokens fail on send. I've tried using a new Gmail account for SMTP and even went as far as setting up a Mailgun account to get it to send. Absolutely refuses. I also self-host CRATER INVOICE which I just use internally for record keeping, and tried both the Gmail and Mailgun SMTP setups with it as well. Https://www.manager.io/ and bookipi.com are both decent options too, if your just looking to track who has payed and who has not + how much you have total made bookipi will sync with your chosen bank account. But there are so many options out there, lots of them with free trials so give them all a go and see what works for you best. Source: over 2 years ago
I think this is one of the simplest, easiest to set up and cost-effective invoicing solutions for a small business. I have yet to have a client complain about the service, cost or ease of use and love how professional it looks for their business. They've even had customers ask which service they use.
