  We just got a client whose internal Ad is company.com and their website is also company.com. They cannot browse the company website from the internal network as it points them to the AD. • Internal DNS Settings Blocking Access to Company Website

  Our company has been around since before the Internet so we have the common problem of our internal domain being the same as our web domain. Long ago, we made a www entry in the DNS on our domain controller to point to our website IP so internal users could access the site. For clarity, when I ping company.com I get our local DC private IP, and when I ping www.company.com I get the public address. Source: 8 months ago
