Choosing the color scheme was kind of a funny coincidence. I had seen a screenshot of a tumblr post/meme and really liked the colors in it. Also, the colors are a bit bright and (in my personal opinion, don't know your character) don't match well. There are plenty of sites that can give pretty decent palettes if you don't have anything specific in mind, and can filter for specific colors if you're in, say, a green mood.
