Make and share with ease private discussions and perspective exchange based on temporary anonymity, where the focus is on what is answered instead of who is answering. Plus there's a simple Gantt calendar to keep your long term matters at hand, and more to come.

  • Ask HN: Those making $0/month or less on side projects – Show and tell
As in the last thread about projects that didn't make into top HN https://collanon.com remains a free web app for your private discussions and confrontations. ¯ \ _ ( ツ ) _ / ¯. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
  • Ask HN: What have you created that deserves a second chance on HN?
I tried with my web app https://collanon.com and didn't get much traction on HN(maybe bad timing). It's on its 3rd year of development/improvement and it's about making and sharing easily private discussions and confrontations(1vs1) with temporary/total anonymity in mind without relying on any big tech service or cloud providers to keep the data more private. I'm on a path to a big upgrade soon too. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
  • I made collAnon, for private discussions, confrontations and a simple Gantt calendar - Preaching for feedback <.<
Here is the webapp itself https://collanon.app meanwhile for info you can look up https://collanon.com. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Ask HN: What is something you built but never marketed?
There were shy attempts at "marketing" https://collanon.com but I didn't follow through them seriously even though it's a ready to go platform. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
  • Ask HN: What Are You Working On? (August 2022)
I'm still working on collAnon[1], a private discussions platform(behind a PWA) with bias avoiding intent through temporary anonymity of the answers(which also means that discussions have an end date). In the latest development I decided to change route and make it freemium, with all the previous premium features now available to everyone. This is to make it more appealing to try this kind of discussions that are... - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago

  • Any chance Phoenix might ever migrate to Rust?
At the time, I was starting a project in Elixir (cf Kubirds) for my startup because the feature-set of Elixir matched very well with what I wanted to do. Source: 10 months ago
  • Ask HN: What Are You Working On? (August 2022)
Currently working on https://kubirds.com , a Cloud-Native Supervision Engine. Think alerting similar to Nagios/Icinga/Centreon but as a Kubernetes Operator which can run almost any Docker image. We are also building on top of this a trading bot with a FinTech company, and a SaaS website monitoring service for non-tech people. We are also considering building, still on top of Kubirds, a No-Code notification... - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
  • Ask HN: Nagios Alternative for an Academic Network
If it's based on Kubernetes, my associate and myself are working on https://kubirds.com/ But I guess you might want to go with either Icinga or Zabbix if it's not based on Kubernetes. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
  • Ask HN: What Are You Working On?
Kubirds[0], a Cloud Native Supervision Engine. In the Cloud, monitoring and supervision is all about metric collection and analysis. The good old days of alerting (with tools like Nagios, Icinga, Zabbix, ...) seems to have been forgotten. IMHO, numbers (metrics) are good for machines, not humans. Alerts provide a very simple way of detecting what's wrong. This is why CI/CD tools have a "Green/Red" status for their... - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
  • Gov.uk drops jQuery from their front end
What's so wrong about sprinkling some jquery on a static website (generated with hugo or jekyll)? On https://kubirds.com I use: jQuery appear: https://plugins.jquery.com/appear/ jQuery fancybox: https://fancyapps.com/docs/ui/fancybox/ Do not put jQuery to the trash yet, it still have a long life ahead. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
