I live and swear by Citymapper[0] for all cities that it supports. No other app I've used has been as good for public transport as Citymapper has been. I really hope one day one of these city transport organisations either buy it out, push for it, or license their tech. [0] https://citymapper.com/. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 months ago

But by way of encouragement maybe, the area near my office—off Irving Blvd and Medical District Dr—is not pedestrian friendly by any stretch. *small caveat, as much as I love Anubis I'm not super aware of characterization in the original mythology, however, after a quick trip to britannica.com it seems he was more similar to hades as the soul-governor, though apparently he was anciently associated with hermes, no idea why, but he did invent embalming, so enjoy this information. Actually found this question really interesting. So I went to britannica.com for answers. And it seem that slaver inst part of any ideology. Its been used by everybody. From ancient Athens, to Imperial China, from Nazis in Germany to communist in Soviet Union. So I guess it was just a way of life, which most of us only recently found out is incredibly wrong.
