Another wonderful option is to play Nintendo 3DS games with the Citra emulator. They look incredible. Don't talk about where to get specific software unless your mods are willing to curate a list of ESA-compliant websites (those that only list abandoned/public domain games, and will promptly remove a game from their list when asked by the publisher or rights holder).
