  • Calculating voltage drops across resistors with 2 sources
When you come up with a good suspected answer you can check it with falstad.com or everycircuit.com . Those are the two I use most but by no means the only ones available. Source: 11 months ago
  • Is it possible to automate this circuit without using a 555 timer ?
This program will run on Android, Windows, Linux: https://everycircuit.com/. Source: about 1 year ago
  • I need a sanity check on a Resistor for an LED button.

  • Ask HN: How many of you are open to Piracy again?
The only 3 platforms that receive my money are Bandcamp, Itch.io and Steam. The first two are pristine from an ethical standpoint. I'm torn on Steam because it's not run as a typical USA corporation with all the anti consumer BS. The DRM they themselves provide is more of a suggestion instead of a real challenge. It can be broken with off the shelf tools or just stepping and dumping in x64dbg. However they did... - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
  • A circuit simulator that doesn't look like it was made in 2003
For a more schematic + signal analysis, less breadboard IRL approach, EveryCircuit is just as good looking. https://everycircuit.com/. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago

  • Warp[vz network] Data accounting does not match reality
I kept going back and forth and the rep kept stating the amount listed on usmobile.com, and inside the app, as the current month's data usage did NOT include hotspot data, and that the hotspot data is what drove me over 100GB. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Looking for new carriers?
Can you specify what plan you are on with Mint? Try tello.com they have custom plans to match your needs. Or try usmobile.com, their pooled plan starts at $9 for Unlimited Talk / Text + $2 per GB of data on either Verizon or T-Mobile network. Taxes included for US Mobile on pooled plans only. Tello charges no fees except for taxes (no recovery fees like Mint, service fee, etc.) If you want other options with... Source: about 1 year ago
  • Why is it so difficult to understand data usage with US Mobile?
Would you or anyone at US Mobile be able to expalin why the App shows different information than the web (http://usmobile.com)? Source: over 1 year ago
  • In my opinion, AT&T's website design needs a major overhaul.
Someone mentioned Verizon. I currently use them for wireless; they are not quite as bad. (Better performance, better navigation, less buggy). But the real winners here are some of the MVNOs (like US Mobile or Google Fi). Source: over 1 year ago
  • porting number
There are far better deals with MVNOs. If she's a heavy data user, US Mobile provides 100GB of "premium" data on Verizon for $45/month (plus about $5 in taxes); less with single lines. They have many cheaper plans for less data use, as do other MNVOs. Source: over 1 year ago
