I remember playing Chuzzle Deluxe and when you wanted to exit, it showed one of the little fuzzy ball things that are in the game all teared up and about to cry that you were going to leave the game, and it asked that question. I played it when I was little, and I thought it was really sad. Those things are cute and don't need to be heartbroken like that, all because you don't want to play with them anymore. I've played BTD a lot and I can totally understand where you're coming from. My suggestion would be Gems of War. A match-3/CCG game, obviously a step outside of the genre. However, it's surprisingly complex, with a ton of different strategies, a lot of stuff to do and collect. It's also quite relaxing and excelent for multitasking. Source: about 2 years ago
