The problem is the desktop is too far away from the TV. If I wanted to connect them through an HDMI cable, it would have to be at least 7-8 meters long and the HDMI 2.1 cables (which supports 120Hz@4K) that I found online are mostly 3 meters long max. Hi, it just occurred to me to share a browser extension I've used for a while, that's nice for a lot of things, it shows up on your new tab page, and has a nice picture and nice quotes but also has a place to identify what you're trying to, focus on, but it also first asks you your name (and you can change it whenever you want) and then regularly addresses you with that name when you open a new tab, it's called...
