I don't know if I prefer python or JavaScript as a language. What I enjoy is that, in general, for me. I feel like I can do more stuff easily in JS. Looking around I see 1000s of cool things made in JS. three.js, babylon.js, Google Maps, Chrome Experiments. I make things and I can share them with just a link like Rockfall, Slime Sim. Siri is not where it needs to be because Apple refuses to mine user data to enrich it. They also are very hesitant to allow researchers to publish their breakthroughs which makes recruitment very hard.
