  I use an online tool called chordchord.com - I get to play as much as I like, experimenting with chord progressions. When I hear something I like, I write down the chords and notes and then key these into my composing software or directly into FL Studio. This tool has made my life easier with creating songs.   Uh, depending on exactly how it's implemented, it could break a lot of things.
