If you are extremely worried about root kits you would need to start with a clean system and then whitelist any "positives". If your concerned you would have to use the tedious method of using dpkg to determine what package a file belongs to, one at a time, and then compare it's checksum to the back installed... Hi, I have been learning C++ recently using Visual Studio and Replit and wanted to switch to using a compiler with the windows command prompt. When I search up how to install MinGW there are multiple tutorials of indian people and other people who use totally different links and download pages in each video and I'm not sure which one to trust.
